Suicide Prevention, it is not something that is openly talked about and embraced but it should be. Here at Family Services our mission is to end the stigma against Suicide and Mental Health. During Suicide Prevention week, we celebrated the lives of people who have lost the battle with suicide. We celebrated the people that won against the silent killer, and are thriving, and more importantly we celebrated life. Because every life is important. We asked that clients, and people around our little town come to the agency and put their fingerprint on the tree of life. They could also sign a ribbon for someone who lost their fight against suicide. End the stigma, stand up and talk about it. We’re here to help.
