Substance Use Counseling
Substance Use Counseling means for Family Services that our counselors will meet the individual where they are in their recovery journey. This could range from a person in active use needing long-term intense counseling services to someone who feels at risk for a recurrence of use and needs support for a brief time. Our clinicians are experienced in working with a varied range of clients.
We also conduct evaluations for Substance use for individuals referred by court and/or probation.

What Will Happen?
Once you call or visit our agency you will not have to wait long for an intake assessment as we generally are able to schedule you within a few days to a couple of weeks. The first session, also called the intake, is up to two hours long and dedicated to support you and finding out what you are looking to get out of counseling and recovery. After that a typical counseling session, which can occur ranging from several times a week to once per month based on what you want, is normally an hour long but can be modified depending on your needs.
