Andrew Cauley, LSW, CADC
Internal Consultant
I began my work in this field 12 years ago after beginning my own journey of self-reflection and growth. Since this time, I became a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, completed my Master of Social Work through the University of Pittsburgh, my licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania and worked in various therapeutic, supervisory, and administrative capacities. Establishing an opportunity for clients to process their personal histories and stories, which are often filled with guilt, shame, and remorse, and watch as they become motivated towards a new life full of possibility and continual personal change is gratifying not only on an individual level, but it also provides a lasting impact on the community. A small pebble in a pond can create lasting ripples, and I’ve been privileged to witness the change process in the lives of many individuals throughout the years. Although being truly present with individuals and reflecting on their stories with them is always the priority, I have been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
