Jason Rulander, LSW, CADC
Outpatient Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services Therapist
I’ve interned as a mental health therapist at Abraxas Youth and Family Services and have provided drug and alcohol therapy to adolescents, subsequently receiving certification as a drug and alcohol counselor through the Pennsylvania Certification Board. I had received my graduate degree through the Pitt School of Social Work with a certificate in Children, Youth, and Families. I had then received licensure at the master’s level in social work through the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors. I’ve served families as a therapist utilizing an Eco Systemic Structural Family Therapy model.
I have found that my purpose as a clinician has included taking an eclectic approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are, and having the capacity to concurrently address mental health, addictions, and relational issues.
