Jennifer Chase, LSW
Mental Health Therapist
I have been working in the behavioral/mental health field for the past ten years. I received my undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University and hold both a Masters in Education and a Masters in Social Work from Edinboro University. I have worked varying jobs within this field over the past ten years including Therapeutic Support Staff, Behavioral Support Specialist, Mobile Therapist, and Family Based Mental Health Professional. My desire to do more to help others was really sparked in my time as a Family Based Mental Health Professional. I went on to obtain a second Master’s degree in Social Work in order to become a licensed social worker and have the ability to work in the outpatient setting. I am currently preparing for my LCSW exam. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eco systemic Family therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
I am honored to sit with others in some of their darkest times and help them navigate through some of life’s challenges. The opportunity to help others find a sense of hope, break down barriers, and reach the goals they have set for themselves is a privilege.
